I’ll be REALLY busy…..

Since my wife and I are trying to regulate our budget to accomodate saving for a new house , and funding the startup of Matskat’s Customs, I got the opportunity to stock up on games today…as I won’t be able to buy games like I used to (on a whim, every Tuesday when new releases come out).

So, in order to maximize my play, and purchase economically , I picked up some games that traditionally have lots of playtime, or high levels of replayability.

I’m gonna be busy with these for a bit.

Mass Effect 2 – BioWare’s space opera odyssey, gorgeous and grand in scale, this one’s gonna be a while.

Final Fantasy XIII – I haven’t been interested in FF since VII, what with all the androgynous  male characters, and bubble-gum pop style…but this one looks beautiful, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Yakuza 3 – Sega’s brawling drama continues the story of Kazuma Kiryu – The Dragon of Dojima. Between kicking Yakuza ass and playing pachi-slots, there’s a lot to do in Tokyo when you’re a white suit wearing gangster.

Espgaluda II – Cave’s latest region-free shooter. Continues the story of a pair of hermaphroditic heroes, blasting enemies amidst a curtain of gunfire. This is Cave’s last region-free offering. Hopefully the western success of this and Mushihimesama convinced Cave to localize future games (I’m looking at YOU, Ketsui!)

These should keep me busy…now to convince the wife to let me splurge next Tuesday for God of War III….
